The ice came in for the first time in two years and filled Trinity Bay. It happened on Thursday April 5, 2012. When living there over the winter I remember waking one morning to the sight of the bay full of ice. It stayed around for a few days and then just as mysteriously as it appeared it was gone a few days later. It then returned and again disappeared. It didn't melt but moved away with the currents.
